Hi, I’m Rach — the person behind Green Haven. I know that reaching out for support isn’t always easy. You might have been thinking about it for a while, or maybe something has only just shifted for you. Either way, you’re here now, and that matters. My approach to counselling is gentle, grounded, and human. I don’t believe in sitting across from you analysing or judging. Instead, I aim to create a space where you feel safe enough to be yourself — whether that looks like talking things through, sitting in silence, or figuring things out as we go. I often work with people who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns they don’t quite understand. Sometimes there’s a clear reason for it, and sometimes there isn’t — just a sense that things don’t feel right anymore. Together, we take the time to gently explore what’s been coming up for you. We make sense of your thoughts, your feelings, and your experiences in a way that feels manageable, not overwhelming. Along the way, I’ll offer practical tools and strategies you can use in your everyday life — things that actually feel achievable, not just something to talk about in session. I also understand that traditional face-to-face therapy doesn’t feel comfortable for everyone. That’s why I offer Walk & Talk sessions — a more relaxed way of connecting, side by side, where conversation can flow more naturally without the intensity of sitting across from each other. At the heart of my work is the belief that you don’t need to have everything figured out to begin. You don’t need the “right” words. You don’t need to be in crisis.
